Obituary of Melissa Ann Daddona

Our beloved Melissa Ann Daddona, age 48, of Watkins Glen, NY died unexpectedly on December 26^th, 2023 while at the family cottage on Seneca Lake.  Survived by her fur babies Hannah and Seneca. Melissa was born in Hackensack, NJ on October 4^th, 1975.  Melissa is survived by her parents, James and Carole Daddona (LaPoma); sister, Candace Atkins; nephews, Nic and Corbin Atkins; loving partner, Patrick Dotts; cousins, Kathy Sindoni, Jon (Amanda) Sindoni, aunts, Delores LaPoma ,Sandy LaPoma and Kathy LaPoma; Terri (Russell) Hill, Debbie Barton, Tom LaPoma, and Teddy and Carla LaPoma; many other extended family members too numerous to mention;  Melissa was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Daniel Atkins, Patricia Brown (Daddona), Don LaPoma, and David LaPoma. 

Our spirited girl left after a good life of hard work and a fierce love for family, friends and all things furry. 

In lieu of flowers please give to a local animal shelter of your choosing.  Animals were her passion and she helped and loved many through her life.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Elmira College.   She served as executive Assistant at Southern Tier Custom Fabricators. 

A celebration of her life will be held on January 13, 2024 from 1-4 pm at Seneca Lake Event Center at Clute Park Watkins Glen.
