Obituary of Patrick "Ricky" VanHorn

Patrick “Ricky” Van Horn, age 60, of Pine City, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Ricky was born in Montour Falls, NY on November 11th, 1962, the son of Doyle James and Terry Ann (Dull) Van Horn. Ricky is survived by his mother, Terry A. Van Horn; sister, Patricia (Van Horn) Rekczis; niece and nephews, Tara (Jimmy) Miller, Gregg (Amber) Rekczis Jr., and Patrick (Rebecca) Rekczis; great nieces and nephews, Bryce and Axell Miller, Jasmine Craven, Aden and Easton Rekczis, Aubree and Isaiah Rudy; and Patrick, Parker and Ila Rekczis; aunts and uncles, Harry (Sandy) Van Horn, Barbara Van Horn, Franklin “Barney” (Marsha) Van Horn, Deborah Lewis, Michelline Coble and Chad (Charissa) Coble, as well as several cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Doyle “Jim” Van Horn; uncles, Steven Coble and Ralph “Pete” Van Horn. Friends and family may call from 1 pm to 1:30 pm on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at Haughey-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 119 5th St., Watkins Glen, NY 14891. A memorial service celebrating his life will follow at 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Seneca Union Cemetery in Valois, NY.
