Condolences
Sante was my best friend early in my life. We played together when we were grade school, traded baseball cards and went on Yankee game excursions to Yankee stadium. I have fond memories of Sante thru my early years. We were the best of friends. In high school he always had a new joke to tell us.
He will be missed.

Sancho… From your adopted LeMoyne daughters, we were so lucky to know you. We’ll take care of Sal and Shell while you watch over all of us. Rest peacefully. Go Yankees.
He was the sweetest man. I remember yankee bus trips with him. So going to be missed.
My deepest, deepest condolences to Sally and Shelly and, really, the entire world. This was the kindest man I’d ever met in my life. Sante, you showed me a lot of kindness in a cruel world for a time and I will never, ever forget you. My God, this is a horrible loss. Just knowing you’re no longer here, with that big huge heart. Words cannot describe that sorrow. You’ll live on always in my thoughts -Jenny Lynn
Sante was one of a kind and I’ll never forget his smile. He was so special and will never be forgotten. Sending you all of my love.
Sante was like a brother to me. Our families made several trips to Myrtle Beach when our children were young. We spent a lot of time together. Always had a great time. Will miss him always but will never forget the memories.
Sante was a real "Gentle Giant" Always a kind and nice person in school and life. Loved when my brother, Dave got all excited when Sante and all the guys would go on the bus for the Yankee games. Remember going to him mom's house for pizza. He and his kindness will be sadly missed. Condolences to his family. Denny & Nancy (VanAmburg) Rodabaugh
I could write a book about the wonders of my friend Sante Conte.i honestly believe that he was loved be everyone in Watkins Glen. He was kind, gentle, honest, caring and a sincere friend. He was a wonderful husband and father and I can’t imagine the loss they feel. Sante will be missed by so many of us. Now it’s his turn to fly free with the angels.
He truly encapsulated the quote from It's A Wonderful Life "Each man's life touches so many other lives"....
I know the Yankee greats in heaven will be there to greet him...

We have no words that would adequately express our feelings of loss of our good friend Sante. Ron will miss his nightly phone calls and texts to help manage the Yanks. We have so many great memories of Yankee trips, Saturday night dinners and holiday gatherings at our house. Sante always was a faithful supporter of all athletes in Watkins Glen. Sante was a loving and caring person who had no enemies. He will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace our friend.
