I shall miss my Yale friend very much. Over the last 18 years he has been a constant presence in my life here in Watkins Glen. We often sat during his daily walks around the village to talka about current events and politics - never about theology or religion We both read the alumni magazine fervently and shared similar philosophies, despite our different backgrounds. Cheerful and always friendly I shall miss him very much. the last time I walked with him was just weeks ago along Decatur Street. Frail and unsteady he was still the same wonderful friend.
