Virginia L. Kerbein, age 72, of Watkins Glen, NY entered unto rest on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls, NY.
Virginia was born on June 25th, 1949 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of the late George and Sophia (Gublo) Mitrus. She was a high school graduate and a devout Catholic. Virginia enjoyed her scottie dogs.
Virginia is survived by her sister, Kathleen (Richard) Decker; aunts, Ed (Ellen) Gublo, Patricia Roche, Pat Gublo, and Lorna Gublo; as well as, five nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
Friends and family may call from 10-11am on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021 at St. Mary's of the Lake Church, 905 Decatur St., Watkins Glen, NY 14891. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the church at 11am. Interment will be at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery in Elmira, NY.
