I was so saddened to hear of Joanie’s passing. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to get to know her so much better, although I felt as if I had known her forever through my mom over the years. She was such a wonderful friend to my mom! She was her “dear Joanie and best friend”, and I hope you are all comforted by the thoughts that they are together again, probably up to all kinds of Shenanigans (playing cards, gambling and eating all kinds of goodies)!
