Obituary of Joan B. Specchio

Joan B. Specchio, age 86 of Watkins Glen, N.Y., passed away on March 7, 2022. She was born in Montour Falls, N.Y. Joan is survived by her husband, Raphael A. Specchio Jr. of 66-years, her son, Perry Specchio, Daughters, Kimberly (Scott) Cramer, Katrina (Kirk) Elam, Kelley Elliott, Granddaughter, Jasmine (Michael) Margreno, brother-in-law, Anthony (Annabelle) Specchio, sister-in-law, Anne Louise Ames, brother-in-law, Michael (Bonnie) Specchio , many cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Joan is predeceased by her parents, Emil and Rose (DeDominick) Biever, her brother and sister-in-law, Pierre and Geta Biever, her nephew Philip Biever and her son-in-law, Ronald Elliott. Joan was a loving mother. She loved her four children with her whole heart. Her children were her greatest accomplishments. They were Blessings and her life’s purpose. Joan, “The Nana” loved her Granddaughter, Jasmine and Jasmine’s husband, Michael with her whole heart. Joan, also Loved Kevin Hartman like one of her own children. Friends and family may call from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022 at the “Link” at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, 905 Decatur St., Watkins Glen, NY 14891. A Mass will be celebrated at the church immediately following. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Watkins Glen, NY. Respectful of Lent, donations are requested in lieu of flowers to the ST.
